Prof. Michael Mische

A former consulting principal (non-CPA partner) in the global firms of KPMG and A. T. Kearney, Professor Michael Mische has over 35 years of experience in investment banking and management consulting. The author of six books and over 200 papers, Michael has worked in a variety of industries and has consulted to a wide range of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, prominent management consulting and investment banking firms, and federal, state and local governments and has testified before legislative and judicial bodies as an expert witness and authority.
Since 1997, Michael has been a Professor of Professional Practice at the Marshall School of Business of the University of Southern California. Michael holds a B.S. degree “with Honors” in Finance and Economics and an MBA degree in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and an M.S. degree in Federal Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Haseeb was most recently the co-founder and CEO of Soha Systems, a game-changing enterprise security company that Akamai acquired in Q4-2016. Prior to Soha Systems, Haseeb served Infineta Systems’ Chief Product Officer, where he oversaw all aspects of Infineta’s product management, product marketing, marketing communications and partner management activities. Prior to Infineta, Haseeb served as Vice President for NET’s Broadband Technology Group, spearheading the group’s product marketing, program management and business development functions.
Haseeb has previously held senior product management, marketing and engineering roles at Personal IT, Citrix Systems, Orbital Data, IP Infusion and Oblix. He has served in key advisory roles for startups such as TrustPath, Opas.AI, CyberHaven, Plair and Chegg. Haseeb holds an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
